Character Name: Roxy Lalonde
Canon: Homestuck
Point taken from canon: After [S] Jane: Enter. (http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=006565), just as she's standing on the rooftop of her house, watching the Imperial Drones come to attack her.

Appearance:
Roxy has a rather distinct appearance. She has bright blond hair flipped out at the ends, a lipsticked smile, and what I believe is her most unique trait - bright pink eyes fringed with long lashes. Background:
http://mspaintadventures.wikia.com/wiki/Roxy_Lalonde - This is the wikia page of her history.
Personality:
Your name is ROXY.
God DAMN do you love WIZARDS.
You wish and hope they are REAL, and that so too is their MAJYYKS AND STUFF. You enjoy writing FANPROSE FOR SAID MAGICAL MEN, but you think maybe it's NOT SO GREAT. You are however QUITE GREAT at the esoteric sciences, such as ECTOBIOLOGY, DARK FENESTROLOGY, and the delicate art of APPEARIFICATION. You have tended to accrue dead preserved SPECIMENS from your experiments, little to none of which AREN'T FELINE.
You aren't one to shy from A BIT OF GAMING, particularly the sort WELL PAST ITS PRIME; you have a real soft spot for OLD SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY. It is fair to say most of your leanings are governed by a BENT FOR NOSTALGIA. Your coding cred is totes ridic, basically making you the HOTTEST SHIT HAXXOR BITCH YOU EVER KNEW, as deadaly* to the grid ass* she is beatuiful*. You are known to nonseldomly employ a ROGUISH DEMEANOR toward the FELLAS, a habit not especially jeopardized by your noninfrequent INEBRIATION.
Which is to say, against the better judgment of one your age, you like to DIP INTO THE SAUCE now and then. Unless your MOM is looking, which happens to be virtually NEVER. And considering she has been known by the knowledgeable to be in possession of VISION OMNIFOLD, this strikes you as a particularly STUNNING LAPSE IN PARENTAL DILIGENCE. But you have good friends and many distractions to fill this VOID in your life.
That was a direct quote from the webcomic itself, and pretty much has Roxy in a nutshell. However, there are, of course, many things about here that aren't mentioned in that summary, which I will now strive to delve into!
The first thing that one would notice from Roxy is her typo-riddled bright pink text messages. "Deadaly "and "beatuiful" are just tips of the iceberg when it comes to how atrocious her typing is. This is because she is perpetually drunk. Yes, despite being only fifteen, she is always tipsy, hence her screenname, tipsyGnostalgic. She has "a head full of vodka", according to the webcoming itself, and is often seen with a martini glass in hand.
However, this drinking, despite the hilarity that ensues because of her drunken shenanigans, stands for something much more poignant. Roxy has lived alone, and has had no company for years save for her many cloned cats. She has not seen another human being in the longest time, and also has no parental guidance. But more importantly, she is lonely - there is, explicitly stated, a void in her life. This is not just a pun on the fact that she is a Hero of Void, but goes to speak that there is a loneliness and emptiness inside of her. While her good friends (namely Jane Crocker, Dirk Strider, and Jake English) keep her company best that they can, they can't keep her away from drinking - because they're not with her all the time (or at all, since when in truth, they're just text on the internet - for the meantime). Among all the many distractions that she has, alongside games, the sciences, and writing . . . drinking is obviously one that takes precedence. It's apparent that it's something she does to fill this said void, as her activities are not just hobbies but are explicitly stated to be distractions from the nothingness. So yes, while she likes drinking for the sake of it, it has a dual purpose - the other of which is to occupy herself and to stem the loneliness.
An interesting thing to note, however, is that even while hellaciously tipsy, Roxy is one hell of a hacker. She's not exaggerating when she says that she's "deadly to the grid"; she can hack into mainframes and past viruses and firewalls and what have you. Not only can she hack any system - she can hack the strongest one that the Earth in her time has to offer. The one established by the Batterwitch. She is, indeed, haxxor, and also demonstrates a knowledge of the esoteric sciences. A demonstration of this, aside from her ability to clone cats and to use them in her ectobiological sciences, she is able to uncover the use of the "fenestrated planes" that are pretty much wormhole entrances, as through these she can travel into other dimensions (dream bubbles, specifically). She rigged them to make moving about her house easier, but in between one fenestrated plane and another are vast spaces occupied by what we see as dream bubbles which are set in another dimension. Perhaps there are more things between the fenestrated planes that Roxy has yet to discover.
As mentioned earlier, another of Roxy's hobbies is chatting with her three friends. It later on becomes very apparent that despite Roxy's roguish and flirty demeanor, she's actually a softie with a heart of gold - she teases Jane by flirting with Jake, but backs off "for realsies" because she understands Jane's feelings for the boy. She roots for Jane and encourages her to make a move on Jake, knowing that Dirk might also lay claim to Jake soon enough. This isn't to say that Dirk is less important to her than Jane - Dirk is just as important too, but she wants Jane to have an equal chance in finding happiness (in the "Jakestakes", as she's put it), rather than just sitting there and letting Dirk have Jake without even putting up a fight. She put her own feelings on hold for her best friend, showing that she's willing to make sacrifices for her. (It's really not clear whether she's got a romantic interest in any of her three friends, but she certainly flirts with Dirk and Jake enough, and Hussie's even put in a gag panel of her making out with Jane, so WHO KNOWS.) She also remained Jane's friend, despite the fact that Jane never believed in any of her allegations about the Batterwitch's plans for them all, which indicates that despite how badly a friend could treat her, Roxy wasn't going to throw that away, no matter how hurt she was. She stated that Jane's doubts on the truth of her statements was "wearing on their friendship", but regardless of that, she still continued to be by Jane's side no matter what.
Roxy is just a sweetheart - she also can't bring herself to harm the hungry carapaces in her laboratory because she understood that they were just hungry, even if they were breaking and entering into her home and possibly eating her cats. She also couldn't stay angry at God Cat for unwittingly being the cause of death of her beloved cat, Frigglish. She is obviously a strong girl, ready to fight for her beliefs, just as she kept lobbying for Jane to believe her regarding the Condesce's treachery - but her strength is also a strength that allows her to stand by her friends, no matter the cost. This ties in with her Sburb title, the Rogue - a passive class that uses its powers for others. Roxy is selfless and caring and wants nothing more than her friends to be happy, even if she herself puts on a "party all day errday" attitude.
Her loneliness was a great motivation for her to play Sburb. In fact, she knew that one of the best ways to thwart the Condesce's plans was to not play at all - but another way to do it was to play the game and to beat it. It was a risk that she was willing to take. However, her primary reason for wanting to play Sburb was not so grand as beating a tyrannical empress - it was to meet her friends and to see her late mother. Sburb was going to give her a chance to unite with her friends - most of whom she was away from just through space but through time - and a chance to meet her mother once more. She wanted to see them and to be with them, and that was the reason that she wanted to play Sburb. Another demonstration on the fact that for her, friends and family take precedence, and that she was willing to do anything to be with them.
Aside from those traits mentioned above, Roxy is a mischievous girl. She loves flirting with Dirk and Jake, and even Dirk's Autoresponder. She does it because she likes flirting and flirt-LARPing, but she also enjoys teasing her friends and getting them consternated. But yes, she does want a "lucky fella" to spend the rest of her life with, and is disappointed when her troll friend tells her that she'll have children possibly not because she has a spouse but because of ectobiological shenanigans, much to Roxy's chagrin. Anyway, she's an atrocious flirt, making comments like "do you want me to rub you the right way" and the like, and she does sincerely like the idea of finding someone to settle down with eventually. But for now, while she's single (and hating it), she'll flirt with everyone.
She's also a schemer - she can certainly twist situations around to get her way or to make a point. An example of this was when she was trying to make Jane believe her on the point that the Condesce was trying to kill them all, and she did it by rigging Jane's computer to explode, hoping to make her think that it was an assassination attempt. Another example was when she appearified Jane's book to prove that what she was saying was real.
Another thing to note about Roxy is that she loves cats and will adopt every single cat that she comes across. She also loves wizards. And combines that with her love of cats. She has several cat plushies wearing wizard costumes.
Abilities/Strengths: Even while tipsy (because when is she not tipsy?), Roxy has also been shown to be capable of defending herself physically. She was able to make a run for it several times over from the hungry carapaces in her laboratory and was also able to defend herself against Meenah, the murderous troll she met through the fenestrated plane leading to a dream bubble. She was shown to pack a punch and able to leap great distances. She fights using rifles and her fists. We've only so far seen a demonstration of the latter in canon, and it was shown that she was capable.
As mentioned earlier, Roxy's also a very good hacker. Even while drunk she can shatter firewalls and bring down servers if she wants to. Imagine her when she's sober.
As Sburb's Hero of Void, she also has powers inherent to her title. First of all, she can escape detection by "blacking out" her presence. As a rogue, she can also use these void powers to obfuscate the presence of her teammates. On a somewhat related note, her dreamself (a separate entity from her living in another dimension) sleepwalks (or sleepflies, actually) and usually has a hard time being discovered by Dirk's dreamself.
Weaknesses:
Well, it is a flaw to be drunk all the time. While Roxy has shown the ability to keep taking care of herself physically and mentally while tipsy, it was also shown that she blacked out because of too much martini. While that was a plot device on Hussie's part, it also illustrates that if she drinks too much, she could knock herself out - and that would be bad if it were to happen during a crucial moment.
Another flaw that she could potentially have is that she would probably let a friend hurt her. In fact, she's done it before with Jane. Her friends just take first priority in her life, and she can be quite a martyr for them. This is both a strength and a weakness. She'll never leave them, no matter what - but that might be to the point of having her friendship taken for granted or abused. Considering the dubious roles of Jake English (as possibly having a connection to the series' main protagonist), Dirk Strider (as a destroyer of hearts because of his Sburb title), or even Jane Crocker (as the Empress' possible pawn), there is a possibility that sometime in the future, she may get hurt by one of them.

Third Person Writing Sample:
Roxy stood upon the rooftop of her house, her mom's scarf blowing in the wind as she watched the Imperial Drones flying closer and closer. Well, she was going to bet Jose Cuervo's balls that the Imperious Condescension was pretty right pissed that Roxy had survived this long, considering that the Batterwitch had, you know, facilitated the demise of her entire race.
She took a deep breath, a hand rising up to touch the scarf wrapped around her neck. This scarf was her mom's. Just the idea that she was this close to seeing her again filled Roxy with excitement and courage - it was even better than having a head full of vodka. Well, in a different way. Roxy still wasn't going to say no to some vodka right now. Vodka was good at that making-you-feel-happy-even-when-you're-lonely thing. Plus, it tasted good.
Anyway, the point of the matter was that those drones stood between her and Sburb, and thus seeing her mom again, and her daughter, and her friends. Pretty much her only reason for existing right now. Come on, she was like, totes alone for how long? She wasn't going to pass up on the chance to meet the most important people of her life! That would just be ridic. She'd already decided that playing the game and beating it was going to be the course of action, rather than flipping the bird at the Condesce by not playing it at all. The latter was pretty tempting - it meant derailing the Condesce's plans - but then that also meant Roxy would be alone forEVAR, and no way was she going to say yes to that. Even her beloved pet, Frigglish, was dead - and he was the only one whose meows kept her company closest to 24/7. There was nothing left on Earth. The nights of inane loneliness were totally done and over with. So over that she'd broken up with them, signed the divorce papers, and was ready to meet some new hunkalicious nights that were fun and wild.
Tipsy as she was, her drunk mind was calculating things at the speed of light as she watched the drones approaching. Why were they coming to kill her in the first place? The Condesce wanted her to play so that Earth could be completely destroyed. There was only one answer - Roxy was being tested.
She was pretty scared, sure - not so much scared as whether or not she would survive, but scared that she wouldn't see Janey and Dirksies and Jakelish anytime soon. Or at all. Well, that just meant one thing. Shit was going to hit the fan. She was going to bring it on so hard that those drones would be weeping to their drone mommies and seeking psychiatric asylum.
Roxy rolled her shoulders, shook out her nerves, and extended a hand out to grip her rifle. No way was she kicking the bucket now. Jane, Dirk, and Jake were waiting for her to join them in Sburb, and she wasn't going to let them down.
A girl will do whatever is best for her bffsies.
